Antenna connections
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The nationwide switch to digital television broadcasting will be
complete on June 12, 2009, but your local television stations
may switch sooner. After the switch, analog-only television sets
that receive TV programming through an antenna will need
a converter box to continue to receive over-the-air TV. Watch
your local stations to find out when they will turn off their analog
signal and switch to digital-only broadcasting.
Information about the DTV transition is available from your local
television stations, www.DTV.gov, or 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY
1-888-TELL-FCC), and www.dtv2009. gov or 1-888-DTV-2009
(TTY 1-877-530-2634) for information about
subsidized coupons for digital-to-analog converter boxes.

regarding such connections.

If you are using an indoor or outdoor antenna, follow the instructions below that correspond to your antenna system. If you
are using a Cable TV service, see page 14 for Cable TV connections.
Combination VHF/UHF Antenna (Single 75 ohm cable or 300 ohm twin-lead wire)
Combination VHF/UHF Antenna (Separate VHF and UHF 300 ohm twin-lead wires)
Separate VHF/UHF Antennas (75 ohm VHF cable and 300 ohm UHF twin-lead wires)
Connect the 75 ohm cable from the combination VHF/UHF antenna to the
antenna jack.
If your combination VHF/UHF antenna has a 300 ohm twin-lead wire, the
use of the 300-75 ohm matching transformer may be necessary.
Connect the UHF 300 ohm twin-lead wire to the Combiner (not supplied).
Connect the VHF 300 ohm twin-lead wire to the 300-75 ohm Matching
Transformer. Attach the Transformer to the Combiner, then attach the
Combiner to the Antenna Jack.
Connect the VHF 75 ohm cable and UHF 300 ohm twin-lead wire to the
Combiner (not supplied).
Attach the Combiner to the Antenna Jack.
